There has been a lot of building going on in our area lately. The funny thing is, these new houses, condos and townhomes are all affordable retirement communities. It seems that there are a lot of people, age 55 and over, that want a retirement home in New Jersey. Who would have thought? Aren’t the big retirement places North Carolina or Arizona or Florida? If I were retiring I definitely pick some place warm and some place cheaper. New Jersey has one of the highest cost of living in the United States. It is a wonder that retirees can afford to live here!
