Can We Make The Move?
For the past 5 years we have been discussing moving from New Jersey to somewhere out west. All of my family lives in the west and it would be nice to be closer to them. We have to wait, though, until my oldest daughter graduates high school which is next year. Time flies!
The biggest problem, of course, is finding information technology jobs for my husband. I am not one to make a move without a secure job in place. Fortunately, for me, I work at home, but I can not support my family on what I make. We are hoping that the job market will pick up in the next year and give us plenty of new opportunities.
American Girl Riding Outfit
My younger daughter loves horses. She would like nothing better than to move to a ranch, buy riding boots and ride a horse all day long. Unfortunately, we live in a suburb in New Jersey and there is no room for horses on a small 1/3 acre plot!

What to Buy a Teenager
My daughter just turned 17 and her number one suggestion for a gift was a new car. Since I can’t really afford a new car I instead opted for shoes and Ipod accessories. Fortunately, she is pretty happy with anything that she gets. I still think the best gift to get a teenager is cash or a gift card (as long as the gift card is from a store that they frequent). Teenagers love the freedom of buying their own stuff, and this is a good way to get them to budget and save for the items they want.

One of my favorite television programs is Get It Sold on HGTV. Sabrina Soto hosts this half hour program that helps home owners get ready to sell their homes. I recently viewed an episode where they replaced the current beat up sink and counter top with pedestal sinks to open up the small bathroom a bit more.
