New Blinds?
I just painted my dining room/library and have now decided that the current white window blinds do nothing to jazz up the space. I want to get new Window Blinds that will make more of a statement. Since I painted the room a mossy green, I think wood looking blinds or shades might do the trick. I am just not sure if I should go with the traditional wood blinds:
or with more of a bamboo shade look:
Which do you think would look better?

I prefer the wood ones cause they seem to block more light from entering as well as exiting. They seem to provide more cover which could help with energy costs.

I agree. The bamboo shade look doesn’t seem to block enough light. But that may be just on that picture. On the other hand, i find the second ones nicer, so you have to decide what is more important for you…

I love bamboo .It will be a wise choice for dining room and library because these rooms needs more light.
