My Five Favorite Holiday Activities
With the holidays just around the corner, I thought I would list my five favorite holiday activities to do with my kids as part of the Dora Christmas Carol contest and TwitterMoms:
- Bake cookies. We have a good variety that we like and we always try a new recipe each year. We box up a few and give to teachers, friends and family.
- Decorate the house and the Christmas tree. My kids love to do this, but I have to put on the lights first!
- Watch all the holiday movies on television. My favorite is still White Christmas, while my kids prefer Rudolph.
- Sing Christmas carols. I try to play them on the piano and the kids sing along!
- Give a gift to a needy child. Each year my kids pick a card from the Giving Tree at school and we buy a gift for a needy child.
