Whenever my kids come home for school, they want a snack. Unfortunately, they are always looking for treats such as candy, chips or ice cream! A friend of mine came up with a great suggestion. Cut up some fruit and have that available first. AFTER they have finished the fruit snack, they are allowed to have a small sweet treat. Another mom suggests using the small ziploc bags to portion out the sweet snacks so that your child does not eat to much of the sweet stuff.

Good idea. because they have a lot of benefits besides promising to decrease of many diseases.
