I started my first home business a few years ago and it has grown into four different business that I participate in part-time. One of my businesses is a custom embroidery business. I got started just by listing some items on eBay. Next I built my own website. It is still a growing business and I have to re-tweak it every once in a while, but I enjoy doing it.
I have found that most wannabe home business owners struggle with finances. I wasn’t able to invest a lot of money at first so I would buy a few items, sell them, and then buy more with the profits. If you are interested in a home based business opportunity be sure to research it carefully. Kmow what the up front costs are and if you need to meet any minimum sales requirements. Make sure that you have a market for your products. Talk to your friends and family - are they interested in buying your items? If not, maybe it is not the right business to start with.
Once you get it to work, it is wonderful and I have throughly enjoyed working from home. It really is the best of both worlds!

I agree that it’s a great feeling to own your own business.
I’m slowly developing a flyer delivery service. Not rich, but the feeling of control is great.
