I used to work full time outside the home. After my third child was born, I decided that I really needed to be a home with my children. Somehow I thought I would get a lot done if I stayed at home - boy, was I wrong!! Now don’t get me wrong - I am very glad I made the decision I did. However, there was one big advantage to working outside the home - the errands!! I did not realize how much I would miss running out at lunch and accomplishing so much in just one hour. I went to the grocery store, post office, bank, home store and lunch all in one hour (ok sometimes it was a little more than one hour). Of course, now I have to make sure the baby’s diaper is changed, get snacks and juice, put diaper bag in car, make sure stroller is still in car - finally ready. That only took me thirty minutes. Trying to run all the errands I used to on my lunch hour is impossible, so I try to just go one or two places. But hey, at least I get to see my little boy smile at me all day long!!
