My sister and I own a timeshare in Utah. We have never stayed at the resort, but trade it in for other vacations. We have stayed in various places in the United States. We have also used our membership to get extra vacations at quite a reduced price. Our timeshare is weeks based, but there are also points based systems as well (such as Disney or leisuretime vip).
If you are looking to buy a timeshare, try eBay. That is where we bought ours. It is sometimes much cheaper and it really doesn’t matter what location you have as long as you are able to trade for a different location.

I agree Ebay is a great on-line shopping center. My friends and I always buy stuff through Ebay.
