Just for Fun – House Shopping
Just for fun, I stopped by a new development that was being built close to our home. I love to go into the finely decorated homes and get some great tips. The color choices are not always my favorite, but I do love the choices of appliances and fixtures.
This time my favorite part had to be the double vessel sinks in the master bathroom. These sinks were made out of Honey Onyx and had a great finish to them. The cool think about vessel sinks is that they sit on top of the counter, not sunk down into the countertop. Really gave the home an old Roman feel. I suspected that sales people in togas were going to emerge any minute and convince me to buy the house right there and then!

I love to go visit model homes and dream about ways to fix up my old house. My favorite sinks are the ones that look like a bowl on top of a table. I don’t know the name of them but, I think those are so cool and I really want one.

Some vessel sinks can be recessed a bit into the counter. I prefer them on top because they look much better. Haven’t got one yet though!

This has been so much fun. Shopping for my Vessel Sink was like looking for a diamond in the rough but I finally found it. B-)
