Today I went out with a few friends to celebrate Chinese New Year. We were supposed to go into China Town in New York, but because of the snow all the kids had a delayed opening. Instead we just hit a local Chinese restaurant.
This year is the year of the Pig – oink! There are 12 animals that are recycled every 12 years. I was born in the year of the Ox. What does that mean? Well according the Chinese zodiac I am “patient, speak little, and inspire confidence in others. Ox people tend to be eccentric, and bigoted, and they anger easily. They have fierce tempers and although they speak little, when they do they are quite eloquent. Ox people are mentally and physically alert. Generally easy-going, they can be remarkably stubborn, and they hate to fail or be opposed.”
I am NOT patient. I do speak little and I think I can inspire confidence in others. I am NOT bigoted, but maybe a little eccentric. I DO NOT anger easily, but when I am angry watch out! I am easy-going and stubborn and I hate to fail or be opposed.
So they got some of it right! Read more about your Chinese zodiac sign!
