The question of the week is “How will you celebrate Halloween?” My family does a number of things:
- We go pumpkin picking at Terhune Farms in Princeton, NJ. Not only do they have great pumpkins to pick but they have live entertainment, apple picking, pony rides and a corn maze. Not to mention the BEST donuts around!
- I try to make my kids’ costumes every year. This year my two daughters (7 and 12) are going to be pirates, and my son is going to be Phantom of the Opera. He is 3 1/2 and that was his choice. He loves the movie. I will try and post pics later when I finally get the costumes finished.
- We decorate the outside of our home and carve pumpkins as well.
- Of course the best part is the trick-or-treating! We head out to the grandparents home first (they live really close), and then up and down a couple of streets. This is the favorite part of Halloween for our family!
