I played clarinet and saxophone through high school and picked up the bassoon my senior year. I also learned viola. I stuck with the bassoon through college, but didn't go any further with my music after I decided I didn't want to be a music teacher. I'm going to get my clarinet fixed one day and see if I can't find a community band to join. I really miss playing. I love when parents encourage children to learn music instruments.
