After a long and fun packed vacation, I am trying to catch up on all the blogging and housework that needs to be done! We had a great time visiting family in Washington and Utah and the kids had a great time horseback riding, river tubing, swimming in the pool and visiting various attractions.
Rachel was a little scared the first time she tried horseback riding, but she soon felt as ease!
The 2nd cousins all had fun playing together at the family reunion.
Noah loves to swim and jump in the water in Leavenworth, WA!
My oldest daughter spent some time with at a church youth group activity. She had a blast!
We spent Pioneer Day (July 24th) in Utah. We saw the parade, set off fireworks and the girls bought bonnets to wear.

YAY, Pioneer Day! Made it to the parade but didn’t have any fireworks to set off. Next year, I guess.

Oh, how absolutely fun! And the kids are adorable. I think that people who feel they need to go to famous vacation spots to have fun are wrong. You are the perfect example of making fun wherever you travel.

Many of us have at least one hobby. It’s something we like to do to pass the time because we find it fun or it’s a way for us to escape the pressures of every day life. Having one or more hobbies is all part of being a well-balanced person. Most of us may never have thought that doing what we love to do and actually making a living out of it might even be possible. Wow, doesn’t that sound like fun? Can you imagine making a livelihood from your hobby? It would be a lot more interesting than dreading getting up Monday morning and reporting to a boring old job making someone else rich, wouldn’t it?Well, chances are you can do just that. Many hobbies could actually be operated as a business. All it takes is some business savvy and finding out if there is a market for what you like to do. If there is, you just need to know the best places and techniques to tap that market.

Your children are really cute…. In Washington the National Mall is always busy with walkers, joggers, and bikers…. Kids always love a zoo, and National Zoological Park: Pandas! Cheetahs! is an especially good one, with a Kids Farm…
