For my embroidery business, this is very hard. Since my items are personalized it is sometimes difficult to allow a customer to buy items last minute. However, I do stitch up a few Holiday Blankets ahead of time that can be shipped out overnight. Personalization on these takes just a few minutes.
Make sure that you can offer overnight shipping and be prepared to do so. Maybe even make a page on your website with last minute gifts that can be purchased and sent immediately. Your customers will thank you!
