There are so many dogs that need homes. I am not talking about the dogs you find in pet shops or from the neighbor down the street. I am talking about the dogs that are in shelters. Unfortunately, not all of these dogs will find homes. Some have been abused and will be difficult to place, but many others are great dogs that have been either crate trained or are housebroken.
After Hurricane Katrina, there were plenty of dogs that were abandoned and were never claimed by their previous owner.
