I have know a few people in my lifetime that have had brain tumors. Before I heard of Gamma Knife surgery I pretty much thought that brain tumors were not curable. Gamma Knife surgery is a radiosurgery that has treated over half a million people. The Gamma Knife is specifically optimized for the brain and is able to focus the radiation to a single point in the brain while protecting the rest of the body from excess radiation.
I’m glad to know that there are options for treating brain tumors. Knowledge is power!

So why are we advertising on this site for companies. I perfer the web site my sister used when looking for information about stereotactic radiosurgery. It had tons of information that was very useful even though she had surgery.
