I have found a new place to get my book fix: Paper Back Swap! When you join (membership is free) you list your paperback (or even hardcover) books on the site. Every time you list a book, you get one credit. When you mail a book out, you also receive one credit. Members can request your books and you can request books from other members (each request is one credit).

The best part is that you can print a mailing label and wrapper right from the site. Print the wrapper, tape it around your book and take it to the post office to mail. They even tell you how much shipping should be attached. You can also sign up for their postage program and print the postage right from the website.

There are tons of different books to choose from. Fiction, non-fiction, history, dieting, prescriptions and diet pills, history and more! You can sort by books posted most recently and can even read and post member reviews.

As long as you are willing to part with your paperbacks, this program is a lot cheaper than buying new books all the time. Your cost is the cost of postage to the requesting member (which averages about $2.25 per book) and books mailed to you are free!

One Step Ahead is a great online store for baby, toddler and child products. When my children were little, I ordered quite a number of items for this website. Why? It was easy to find what I needed! One Step Ahead has baby clothing, bath, feeding, nursery, safety, travel, toys and seasonal items. They even have a sale section.

Now that summer is almost here, check out their vacation travel section. There are many great products to use while traveling. When we were taking car trips, my favorite item was the portable potty. It certainly came in handy when there were long stretches of road and no bathrooms!

I have heard a lot lately about home furnishing memberships. They work something like Costco or Sam’s Club. You pay a yearly membership fee and then you are able to buy home furnishings at manufacturer-direct prices. One of these memberships, directbuy, has a wide range of cabinets, counter tops, vanities, sinks, flooring and tile and tubs and showers. You can request a free visitor’s pass, take a look and decide if the prices are really incredible.

I finally put up a new theme and I love it! It is soooooo much better than the last theme. The colors are some of my favorites. What do you think?
