Codswallop has posted an interesting article: The Freelancer’s Toolset: 100 Web Apps for Everything You Will Possibly Need. Now, I know that we are not all Freelancers, but these tools are great for any small business owner! The posts is divided up into 15 sections, including Organization, Website Tools, Printing and Packaging and Client Contact and Feedback. A few of the tools caught my eye and I thought I would share them with you.
Backpack. Backpack is an online scheduler. You can create to-do lists, add notes and even upload pictures. Each item has its own page with its own title. After you create a page you can even duplicate it or email it.
Stikkit. Do you use yellow sticky notes? Now you can make stickies on your computer. Making the stikkits is very easy. Each Stikkit even gets its own email address. You can email updated notes to each Stikkit from your email account. It takes a little practice to get the hang of it, but the forums are a great source of information.
Breeze. If you send out email campaigns, here is an easy way to do it. You only pay for what you send out. There is a flat $10 fee and then 2 cents for each recipient. Breeze offers many different designs to choose from as well.
These are just a few of the great ideas! To find out more about them or other tools, read through the article. It was fun reading about some of the tools and finding ones that would suit my business and personal needs.
