Book Review: The Witch Doctor’s Wife
I have been searching Amazon books and ended up picking up three books at Costco. This is the first book in the group that I finished.

You may find the story line of this book familiar if you have read Steinbeck’s The Pearl. Set in Africa, the book explores the lives of an American missionary, Belgium police officer, a local Witch Doctor and his wife, plus various other characters and how their lives become intertwined because of a large diamond.
The author, who grew up in Africa, does a great job bringing the novel to life. I really enjoyed the chapter headers which give a little factual glimpse into life in Africa. The book is enjoyable, the ending a surprise, and I wanted to read more!
