A friend of mine has started a new blog all about Camping – Camping Coop! I hadn’t been over there to read it yet because of all the types of vacations that I could take, camping is on the bottom of my list!
There are some things I love about camping. I love the fire outdoors and the way food taste after being cooked on an open flame. I may even have to try Julie’s recipe for Campfire Beefstew (it looks soooo good)! But my list of things I hate about camping is longer than my love list.
I hate not having a bathroom and shower. I hate sleeping outdoors. I hate sleeping bags (I always need to have my feet from out of the covers and sleeping bags don’t work too well)! I hate bugs.
My idea of the Perfect Camping Trip is to rent a fully furnished cabin in the woods. I have done this many times and Yosemite, Jackson Hole, Flaming Gorge and Zions. I LOVE cabin life! I wonder if they have cabins at the Valley of Fire?

As great as the Valley Of Fire is, it’s only tent and trailer camping. No cabins
