Town Council
We have had a lot of complaints recently about what is going on in our town. This year there are three sets of council members running for council, all under the Democratic ticket. As I was looking at the signs in peoples’ yards, one named seemed familiar. I looked it up and it is the Principal of our local Elementary School. Then about a week later, someone knocked on my door. She looked really familiar. She introduced herself as the secretary at the same Elementary School. Her husband is running for town council. But guess what? The Principal and the Secretary’s husbands are on different tickets. Hmmmm….. wonder if that will cause problems?

Hopefully they can keep principles over personalities and all will be well.

Hopefully it doesn’t become a hard choice for voters. People often vote for faces they know, rather than the issues.

Should be interesting to see how that turns out.

I hope it all works out. I don’t let any of them put signs in my yard.

That certainly has the potential to completely disrupt the environment a school needs to foster. Hope they are able to keep their politics out of the school.
