Being Successful

I have been tagged by Suni to write about what habits have made me successful. If you are a woman and you stay at home or work at home it is sometimes difficult to define success. Here are a few things that have made me think I am successful!

Talk a daily or weekly inventory.Think about the things you HAVE accomplished, not the things that you had to let slip by. Take an inventory of your blessings. You will be surprised how many you have!

Let things go. Every once in a while I realize that I just have too much on my plate. It takes me a while to let things go because I am afraid that I will disappoint myself or others. It is ok to say NO sometimes.

Take time for yourself. Don’t be afraid to shut you door and read a good book if you are feeling overwhelmed. Sometimes I need to de-stress before tackling tasks again.

Lists. I am not the best list maker, but when things get really busy I have to write it down! If the week is busy I actually hang a calendar on the front door to let me know where I am supposed to be!

I am now tagging:
